PRAYER GROUP

Thursdays 2pm

at St. Elizabeth's Church

Each Thursday afternoon from 2:00-3:30 pm our Prayer Group meet at St. Elizabeth's Church. We pray for the General Intentions of all Ministries within our Saanich Peninsula Parish. Please refer to prayer intentions if, at any time, your ministry has a specific intention you would like the Prayer Group to pray for.

LENTEN RETREAT

Sunday to Wednesday March 7 to 10

At St. Elizabeth's Church

Fr. Armand Nigro will be giving a Lenten Retreat from Sun. Mar. 7 to Wed. Mar. 10 at St. Elizabeth’s.
Five themes will be discussed:
· The Mystery of God
· The Mystery of Jesus
· The Mystery of Church
· The Mystery of Divine Life, Grace
· The Mystery of our personal freedom inviting us to partnership

C.W.A. MEETING

Tuesday, March 02 1:30 pm

at 7746 East Saanich Rd.

The CWA meeting will be held on Tuesday, Mar. 2, 1:30 pm at the home of Frances Chaproniere, 7746 East Saanich Rd.

CWL UPDATE

On Feb. 9 the CWL had an initiation eremony.
They have 12 new members. Also, pins were given out to those members with 40, 50 and 60 years of service.

CWL - BIRTHRIGHT

Tuesday, March 09

At St. Elizabeth's Church

 On Mar. 9 at 2:30 pm the CWL will have a guest speaker from Birthright come and talk to us. All young moms and their children are welcome to attend. Moms are requested to bring maternity clothes and children’s clothing.

As the Parish Office is closed during the afternoons, please be reminded that all groups using St. Elizabeth’s meeting rooms or building during the afternoon and evening periods are responsible to ensure the building is secure before leaving.

This year they are sorted by
envelope number (in the past they were sorted by name).

If you don’t remember your envelope number, you can look it up on the “Envelope Listing
by Name” sheets next to the envelopes. If you switched to Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) in 2009 your envelope number will have changed (also, the envelope boxes for PAD donors is smaller, as it only contains the special collections).

PRE-APPROVED DONATIONS (PAD’s)

Please consider supporting our parish via pre-approved donations instead of weekly envelopes. This is a convenient way to contribute to the parish.
Each month your contribution will be automatically debited from your bank account. Packages are available in both churches. If you have any questions, please call Gary in the office at 250-656-7433.
